    Benelli TNT 1130

Does anyone know anything about these? They look quite funky, and a couple of brief (1 sentence) reviews I've seen said they were good.

I dont really know of any reviews of them. I'm still not yet in the market for chopping mine in, but I'm looking around ready for the time.

I like the thought of bikes you dont see often, and these fit the bill.  The only worry is that they are as expensive as a Super Duke R and I'm not sure about reliability and parts (OE and aftermarket stuff)

    Re: Benelli TNT 1130

Benelli are now owned by one of the major Chinese manufacturers (the name of which evades me just now), and there are a few official UK dealers (as opposed to importers). Taz Motorcycles are one, I think, as are the Motorcycle Centre in Orrel. So dealership support should be OK, although not on your doorstep.

Found this test from 2004 (MCN, but better than nowt!)

Ta for that link - I'll look at home. Sounds pretty good. Shame they are so expensive. DK are a dealer too at Newcastle under Lyme - so it s not too far from me.

Are DK & Taz importers ??  D6 - just make sure it isn't an import.

    Re: Benelli TNT 1130

DK have some official import contracts too...i think Kawasaki, Aprilia and Benelli.

    Re: Benelli TNT 1130

I know Taz definantly used to be an importer, and I know DK have imported suzukis. Not sure about Benelli though.

Will have  to try and get a test ride on one and on a super duke and see how they compare. Twin v triple.

I forgot - when at the nec show last year - I saw this one off TNT on their stand. It looked really smart then.

    Re: Benelli TNT 1130

Much as the Benelli looks good, if you wanted a triple naked bike then the Speed/Street Triples are the only bikes you should be looking at.

I've heard quite a few minor reliability issues with the KTM Superdukes and the RC8 too recently.
