    Re: Trackdays?

Yeh, 4,5,6mm drill bits should be fine, whichever you have to hand. Use water to cool down the tip of the bit if you have cheapo bits, otherwise you will just blunt them with the titanium can.  @180 degrees. i.e at the bottom Big Smile

P.s dont forget to centre punch the hole, otherwise it will just slip and slide and scratch your lovely can.

    Re: Trackdays?

the can is already scratched. It's off a crashed bike.  I paid about £30 for it.

    Re: Trackdays?

OK, say the mass mail woke me up and realised I hadn't been coming on here. (no excuses)

No Limits are a great track day organiser, they are more relaxed than most but still take safety first.

As for the noise limit, all the weekend track days I have done there have been with a race can with no complaints and I have only ever been noise tested there on a race day, so i wouldn't worry too much about the noise.

And I shall most likely come along and join the frolics, will need to book when I come back from Mexico in a few weeks time though.

Hope your all well by the way Yes

    Re: Trackdays?

I'll have a word with my mate on Tuesday about doing this one, like to do Mallory at least once a year. We're both running track/race pre injection 600's (one SRAD/Ally frame 600) with full race systems. Is it a case of sticking a baffle in for the noise test then accidently popping it out before taking to the track Wink

Hi D6, if I'm riding (which I wish to) and you wish to take some instruction than I will gladly oblige mate. If I'm not riding I may still come along and will again gladly observe and give you some pointers if you need them.

I know one of the instructores fot No Limits so may be able to come to an arrangement on instruction for those in another group to what i ride, I stress MAY be able to as it will most definatly depend on whether the group is full ot not.
