went to honda tamworth yesterday for a coffee and a chat and was shown the new AKRAPOVIC for my new blade looks very nice but have.nt heard it yet ......they also could,nt tell me if there was any noticable performance which is what you first ask when somebody asks you for £815 Hmm

    Re: AKRAPOVIC EXHAUSTS

Where is Honda Tamworth? Is that the Sutton Motorcycles that used to be Suzuki?

I know Fast Bikes he puts a Leo Vince system on (£1100) and got about 10hp midrange - but not really any peak hp.  Also put a piper cross filter on and made no difference at all.

cut it off at the headers and have a slash cut.  Looks and sounds better and it's 10 times cheaper Wink
    Triples are the future, baby!

When you already have a 170bhp-best-sportsbike on the market, Bratty, i wouldn't bother about power gains...go for looks and sound. You will never notice the difference on the road unless the gains are huge!

I'd agree with that, 170 BHP is enough already. A nice end can would be enough IMHO, and then spend on handling and a bit of bling thrown in.

yep i think your all right tbh i think £815 is a bit silly unless theres a big difference in performance .......but there is.nt

    Re: AKRAPOVIC EXHAUSTS

To be honest for me the reason for buying a can is the improvement in looks and sounds rather than performance increase.

i,ve been thinking Angel if my exhaust is nackered i might as well replace it with the AKRAPOVIC it makes sense really Wink

    Re: AKRAPOVIC EXHAUSTS

I can't fault your logic! Crashing seems like a bit of an extreme way to go about justifying the cost of a new exhaust though! Wink
