Yeah - gotta give the 483 a go too.  Its probably just as far as cat and fiddle to me.

it's just a shame that both are such boring rides to get to.

Yeah it was kak on the way to cat and fiddle.  Went via stafford, leek sort of way. Was terrible.  All stop start and 30 limits.  I was getting worried my wrist tendons would be knackered by the time we got there and ruin my fun.  Luckily the little bit of training i've been doing with a squeegie ball seemed to help (also adjusted the clip on position and clutch lever angle.)

the way back was along A515 which was dull, but at least it was 50mph most of the way and few villages.

I hate the ride to wales too but I dont mind it at all when I use the trailer. Maybe you need a trailer too kwacky. Thats if you have a car. You do have a car too don't you?

Ive been searching for towbars. Fixed ones including wiring cost around £200 and detachable £300, Seems a bit pricey when you can buy a car with a towbar fitted for that price.

A friend has a trailer that I can borrow. Its peace of mind though, if ever something were to happen at a trackday. Also able to carry a toolbox and other bits and pieces.

Plus if theres two of you going, hopefully cheaper on fuel.

£200 is a well worth price to pay to enjoy the luxury of not having to ride home after a hard day at the office.Wink

    Re: Cat and fiddle

Found a towbar for my mums car for £80 including wiring kit Yes

Plus heres is a diesel so more torque for towing, and I dont really care if it makes her car look ugly as long as I dont have a towbar on the back of mine. Plus will have saved myself enough money to go on a track day Big Smile
